FAQs

Can I write for your website?

We are always looking for guest writers for our website, so if this is something you’d be interested in helping out with, we would love to publish your pieces! We don’t have any criteria other than the writing fitting with the ethos of our project and you would receive full credit for your work.

Where can I get one of your t-shirts?

You can find all of the information and links here.

Do you take donations of menstrual cups?

We have donated menstrual cups to organisations in the past and can continue to do so; however, this always depends on the kind of organisation we are working with. We find that a lot of the ladies we donate to are only comfortable using sanitary towels (not even tampons) for cultural reasons and, as a result, menstrual cups aren’t always useful. Notwithstanding this, if you would like to donate a menstrual cup to us, we would be more than happy to receive it 🙂
From an environmental perspective, you’ll hopefully be pleased to know that a lot of the pads we donate come from Tsuno and Freda, so they’re entirely organic and eco-friendly!

Do you donate menstrual products to individuals?

If you require menstrual products for yourself or someone you know, you can find ABGC boxes in the following places:

  • Symonds Green Heath Centre (Stevenage)
  • King George Surgery (Stevenage)
  • Stanmore Road Surgery (Stevenage)
  • St Nicholas Health Centre (Stevenage)
  • North Herts Citizens Advice Bureau (Hitchin, Letchworth & Royston)

If none of these places are local to you or you would rather not use them, the best thing to do is to get in touch with us via email (abloodygoodcause@hotmail.com) and we will liaise with you directly.

If you know of a GP surgery or other public place which could benefit from one of our boxes, please get in touch!
